Mosaics
Mosaic art is one of the oldest art forms in the world. It is a process
of taking pieces of glass, tile, stones, china and found objects-
breaking them and creating a design or picture with them. They are then
grouted and sealed. It is a somewhat involved process but well worth
the end product. Mosaics can be found in kitchens as backsplashes,
counter tops, floors, fireplaces and niches. I can also create tables,
end tables, mirrors, trays, Kleenex box covers, picture frames, birth
announcements. It is really endless what one can do with this art
form.
As far as pricing goes, it really depends on the project, types of
materials used, size and location of project. I will do a free
consultation to discuss your project. Then proceed to do cost analysis
on supplies and all other cost and meet with you to present design and
give an estimate. I charge $100 to do the research, create a design and
prepare a quote. 50% of that will be deducted from you total quote when
moving forward.
Murals
Murals are priced depending on several factors: size of space, detail
involved, wall texture, base coat, subject matter, etc. I will need to
have an initial consultation to see the space and discuss your ideas to
be able to give you an estimate.
I price based on square foot, number of walls. Level of detail, etc. I
can work within budgets to create a wonderful mural that you feel is
within your reach. I really want people to have hand painted creations
in their homes and business and I work hard to accommodate my clients.
A mural for one wall starts at $400 (minimum price for mural). The more
detail and time adds on to the cost. My prices include all aspects:
taxes, supplies and the time to paint the project. Once a price is
quoted and the sketches approved, we sign a contract and the price
remains the same.

changes are requested while in the process of the mural additional
charges will apply)
I offer discounts for more than one room or project. I also have a
referral plan: if you refer me a client that signs and goes forward
with a project, you will receive 10% of their mural cost towards any
further projects you want to do in the
future.
Faux Finishing
I can create a number of Faux Finishes too! *Faux stone & bricks, color
washing, sponging, rag rolling, faux wallpaper , cloud ceilings
( price for
ceilings is double because of difficulty and positioning required to
paint)
and many more styles. Prices for this work range from $2.50 to $6.50 a
square foot depending on number of colors and layers involved in the
Faux of your choice.
Oil and Acrylic Paintings
Original paintings range from $200 to $2000 depending on subject and
details and size. See gallery for personal style but remember I can
paint pretty much anything you are in need of including pet portraits.
